WHO AM I
Hello. My name is Sol Kwon, and I am taking Business Communications. I was born on May, 1997, which makes me 22 years old. I currently in second year of university Computer Science (Digital Systems Security). I was from Chatsworth International school before I came to SIM UOW. I was studying International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma) which is a Program a two-year educational program that provides an internationally accepted qualification for entry into universities.

More about me
I was born in Korea, and I lived in Korea until I was 12 years old before me and family decided to live abroad. Before we left Korea, we lived in Yongin which is a city in the Seoul Capital Area, located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. I have been living in Singapore for 9 years now. I have also lived in the U.S and Netherlands.

Why I am studying this course
Before I enrolled in University of Wollongong (UOW) Computer Science, I was actually studying in University of London (UOL) accounting and finance. I choose accounting because many of my friends were taking or already taken the course and were doing well. At that time I was not sure what I wanted to be so I decided to choose accounting as I thought it was the safest choice for me. While I was studying in UOL, I was not happy with my decision as I did not find accounting interesting and did not want to peruse a career in accounting. I wanted to study something that I was interested in. I wanted to learn something I was passionate about. Thus, I decided to study what I was interested by changing my school and the course to Computer Science.

Hobby
During my spare time, I like to play sports, hang out with my friends. I enjoy playing tennis and badminton as it involves teamwork and makes me more healthy. I also like to fly my drone. However, due to laws and restriction in Singapore I can only fly drones when I go oversea. Not only flying drone is entertaining and fun but also it allows me to see aerial picture of the area. (The picture to the right is not taken by me as my drone is currently in Korea, and I do not have access to any of the photos).
